  • Q.: What are leases? - A.: Leases are non-exclusive instrumentals where the producer is giving the buyer the right to use the instrumental, but the Producer owns the rights to the instrumental. The Producer can sell a lease multiple times as the producer retains the rights to the instrumental.
  • Q.: What is an unlimited lease?  - A.: Unlimited leases are non-exclusive instrumentals where the producer is giving the buyer the right to use the instrumental with no limitations in streaming/distribution/broadcast numbers, but the Producer owns the rights to the instrumental. The Producer can continue to lease the beat multiple times as the producer retains the rights to the instrumental.
  • Q.: What is an exclusive license? - A.: With the exclusive purchase of an instrumental, the buyer gains all rights to that instrumental and it remains with that buyer only. The instrumental will no longer be sold, as the buyer owns the rights to the instrumental.
  • Q.: Will I be able to review the full terms and conditions of the lease/exclusive license before making a purchase? - A.: Yes. You will be able to read all the license details in the form of a contract before completing your purchase. You will also be able to a sign the contract (via e-Signature) once you agree to the terms and you will automatically receive a copy of it for your records after purchase.
  • Q.: If I purchase the exclusive rights to a beat, will I receive a trackout (individual instrument stems)? - A.: Yes, you will be automatically sent a download link to the trackout files, which will contain each individual stem of the beat as high quality 24bit WAV files. You will also receive trackouts when a unlimited lease license is purchased.
  • Q.: Can I request a change or alteration to the arrangement of a beat? - A.: Yes, but only if you intend to purchase the exclusive rights to the beat. Simple rearrangement of a beat purchased as a premium lease may be considered with an additional fee. Adjustments may include rearrangement of instrumentation, the addition or removal of instrumentation in specific sections, mix levels, removal of FX, and complete rearrangement of the structure of the beat (length of verse sections, chorus placement etc). If you have any specific ideas regarding adjustments to a beat, please contact me first to ensure that I can provide the exact arrangement you are looking for.
  • Q.: Can I get a refund if I don't want the beat anymore? - A.: Because the instrumentals/musical compositions are considered 'intellectual' property, it is difficult to allow refunds or exchanges, in order to prevent confusion, infringement, and theft of rights. Therefore, requests for refunds are not accepted unless there is a technical issue that cannot be resolved. Please consider these terms before making a purchase.
  • Q.: If I purchase the exclusive rights to an instrumental, do I also own the copyright to it? - A.: No. The producer retains the copyright to all instrumentals.
  • Q.: Do these instrumentals use samples or contain any copyrighted material? - A.: No. All instrumentals are original and sample-free unless explicitly stated.
  • Q.: Do the instrumentals I buy get removed from the site? - A.: Any instrumental purchased exclusively will be removed from the website and never sold again.
  • Q.: Can someone else buy the exclusive rights to an instrumental after I already bought it exclusively? - A.: No. The instrumental will not be available to anyone else after your purchase and you will be the only one to have exclusive rights to it.
  • Q.: I have a question or concern that is not addressed in the F.A.Q. - A.: You can e-mail me with any questions that you have and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
